Ali Cockrean is a professional expressionist artist and experienced tutor.  Ali’s own art education includes formal tuition at Slade School of Art and Central St Martins, London.  She teaches all mediums including acrylic, watercolour, water-based oils, pastels and mixed media.  She is also an experienced tutor across all disciplines, including abstraction, expressionism, landscape, still life, portrait and life drawing.

With over 20 years experience, Ali offers private tuition to adults who are inspired to develop their own skills. She also gives demonstrations and presentations around the country to art societies; writes articles for the national art press and has worked as a freelance tutor for ArtsLink in Sherborne, ArtSmart School of Art in Beaconsfield and Truro Arts Centre, Cornwall.
